Adopt a Child Through the Years

1993 -- started at O.W. Holmes School with 15 children at $130 per child.

1994 -- it jumped to 134 children at O. W. Holmes

1995 – 150 children at O.W. Holmes and Rawsonville Schools with members asked to spend $150 per child.

1996 – moved to Local and we helped 222 children at O.W. Holmes, Logan, Rawsonville and Cheney.

1997 – Inkster schools were added. We have 255 children at the two days of parties. Members were asked to spend $175 per child.

1998 – 275 children got a nicer Christmas. Some Detroit newspaper striker children were helped too.

1999 – Lincoln Schools added. We helped 282 children at all these schools.

2000 – Helen Fields Learning Center for Disabled Children added and 296 children came to the parties held over three days.
